Tanya Pisani: Crafts, Baking, Jams, Home Grown Vegetables
My first year at the market was in 2002.. The market needed baked goods, I did baking and I had the time. A perfect match!!
Since that first day I have expanded my goods from baking and now also sell jams, jellies, pickles and crafts. I also have also added fresh produce from my garden. I love purple and my purple beans are one of my claims to fame.
In August 2005, I was blessed with my daughter, Amanda and missed the rest of the season. I was back in full force, with my new helper in tow in 2006. Amanda is quite the social butterfly and well known by the other vendors and regular clients. She adds to the market flavor and color.
Along with my husband, Joe, we run a farm. Our farm includes sheep, goats, rams, chickens, geese, sometimes pigs and the ever abundance of barn cats. (For kittens call 519-922-1040.)
I thoroughly enjoy the market and camaraderie with the other vendors and the customers.
And when the sun comes out, WATCH OUT!!! It is my claim to fame and pleasure to announce the phenomena (especially this year).
