Arlene Mountain: Buffalo Products , frozen Buffalo Meat

Aron was raised in the country, I lived in the city.  When we ot married, we agreed that we would farm without the use of chemicals.

In 1984 we switched from mixed farming to Buffalo ranching.  Grass- fed, chemical- free, has become a desired sustainable way to raise animals. More and more consumers are educating themselves to the benefits of grass fed meat.  We are happy to provide them with this more natural product.

In North America the terms “Buffalo” and “Bison” are used interchangeably.  The proper Latin name is  (bison, bison, bison).
These animals have given us an interesting lifestyle, our five children and now our grandchildren.

I have been a vendor a Farmers’ Markets for about 20 yeats.  I appreciate the opportunity which links a producer like myself with consumers.  It is a great opportunity to promote local growers, products and foods.
